Instructors

I absolutely adore kids and their curious and energetic personalities.   I love teaching them to be healthy and how to move their bodies.  I truly believe the sport of gymnastics is one of the best tools to help kids develop the basics of physical fitness.

My husband and I have a 13 year old son and 8 year old daughter..   We love to stay active as a family and enjoy biking, water sports, snowboarding and working out.

I also have a heart for the beautiful people in Ethiopia and love being an advocate for an organization called Children's HopeChest.

I have over 25 years of gymnastics coaching experience.  This includes directing a combination of recreational and preschool programs in West Michigan as well as competitive gymnastics experience.  I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a minor in Elementary Education.  Most importantly, I understands the importance of physical development in today's youth!

I love preschool-aged kids, teaching, having fun and the sport of gymnastics, so teaching Tumble Time classes is the perfect fit for me! I have taught preschool gymnastics for over 15 years, and I love that age because they are so curious about learning new skills, and get very excited and proud when they master a new one. My goal in teaching is to instill confidence, help children gain strength, flexibility and coordination, learn useful listening and following direction skills all while having fun!

I am an energetic mom of 4 kids ranging in age from 7 to 14-years-old, I have a wonderful husband of 16 years, I love working out, the beach, taking the kids to the zoo, different parks around the area and family bike rides. I look forward to getting to know your kids individual personalities and teaching them new gymnastic skills!
